Sorry, buddy!
I'm not sure if the animation is actually doing this or not, (can't really see it if it's truly there) but... You gotta have the lighter up to the spray the entire time for it to actually ignite. Can't just flick it once. Again, sorry to break it to ya! (Still pretty damn good taunt though.)

It depends on what's in the bottle. Also you mostly need the lighter to be on it if you keep shooting in bursts instead of a long streak like this.

I'm not an expert but as far as I know that's how it works.

Also consider the fact the pyro can shoot fire from his hands at will. And perform the rainblower taunt.

So this is no longer weird when you put it in perspective honestly.

Well balloons don't spin around in amazing circles when you light them on fire. Also the comment above me says it all.

You are complaining about a lighter and spray can in a game that has ghosts, zombies, robot armies, a material that can make a population super strong and intelligent and live extended periods of time, hats with burning and other effects, soda that makes you invincible, etc. Who CARES its a great taunt that should be added. I'd LOVE to get a fountain of delight one!
