Hope so because i like this menu better

Hi. Unfortunately, looking at the updated files, due to the extensive nature of the update (a lot of files were changed), there is no easy way of updating this.
Since I no longer mod and won't drag myself back into this, I'm considering removing all my UI related mods and whatever else might've been affected. Sorry.

♥♥♥♥, well I think you just need to put in all caps that its not supported in the new update.

But thx for your mods all these years.

Well don't just remove it. I cannot go back to the original way of playing where I have to use tilde just to get to the custom servers view

While I understand you don't want to continue to work on these mods, I wholeheartedly disagree with removing all of them. I personally think you should mark all the mods broken with The Last Stand update as broken in the title/description and allow other modders to update and/or fix your broken mods if they desire to.

I've re-checked the files with more clear mind and it turns out it's not so bad. I'll push an update fix, hopefully, by sometime next week.

I don't know if it would help anything. But maybe the new stuff from The Last Stand Update can be found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\update

In a vpk file: pak01_dir

Maybe they are in that "Update" folder and there you take a look.

Maur0 yeah thanks but I've obviously checked it all already. My standard practice is

• run a general explorer search *.* or *.vpk in root game folder, that way I know which files have been updated
  
• recursively extract files of interest (in case with ui/hud, it's \resource and \scripts folders). You start with the pak01_dir.vpk in main folder, and then extract through _dlc 1-2-3 and update (in that order), replacing the files. That way you get all the files
  
• then I compare these files pre- and post update with Beyond Compare
  
  The culprit of updating the actual modded files is they're different from both original and updated original, so it's still a manual process.

Ah ok, perfect. I just went ahead to edit myself with a l4d1 style menu and thanks to that person I managed to update it in The Last Stand and it looked very good for me.

The update is out and it all should work. You can report if you notice something's clearly out of place or broken.
You might notice there's a few little things / menu sections that have been reverted to vanilla, likely temporarily. But mostly it's all there as before.
Split screen mode has been removed because it's irrelevant/outdated/broken and makes it difficult to manage the mod with it being there.
