please help!
i downloaded a mod called "long range third person fix " and they binded the the alt key and i uninstalled the mod and still is interfiering with the alt key to do bot commands and it wont work.

try rebinding the keys that it told you for that mod. thats all i have to say

I'm no expert, but there might be some hope for you.
After reading a tiny bit I found this:
• This addon overwrites binds for keys: ALT, F1, F2, F3, F5, F6
• Scripts in your autoexec.cfg file will overwrite this addon's settings, if you want to set custom binds.
I suppose if you wanted, you could go to the autoexec.cfg file and set alt to anything.

I don't have an autoexec.cfg file that I can locate...there is a config.cfg file but that one show "ALT" bound to +duck. Which is how I prefer it. Where is this other file?

Autoexec.cfg doesn't exist by default. Just copy one of the other config files, rename it and delete everything inside of it. Any key binds or settings you put in that file will override the default settings.

unbind alt
bind "x" "bots_radial"

Just replace x with whichever key you desire the menu to be on.
