if you only have nacelles, the script is unable to use the "real dampeners" setting. this is because someone at keen decided you can't change the dampeners setting if you don't have any thrusters. quite annoying for people using this script, and no-one else.
because of this, the script controls its own dampeners setting, and tries to keep it consistent with the "real dampeners" when possible. you can change the scripts dampeners with an argument (using the hotbar), or with control module (using your dampeners key on your keyboard)
