I may add TNT, which would only be produced in buildings and, unlike many other resources, would primarily be available in the developed world. But it depends on whether or not my colleague and I decide it'd actually add to the game: sometimes less is more.
As for other resources, I haven't actually read about any other material that was vital in WW2, except lead (which sort of falls into munition production, and can kind of be abstracted into copper). Did you have anything else in mind?
Cloth - If you add uniforms
I cant think of any more,
I was going to change steel to metals, cromium wouldve become rare materials, and i was gonna add food. never did decide on the 6th resource though.
As for wood, I've never heard of it being considered a strategic rarity in the war.
Thats why I was going to merge tungsten aluminum and cromium. partially as "Metals" and rare materials.
I figure I woulve gone (Metals-Oil-Rubber-Food-Rarematerials-TNT)
Itd keep the vanilla 6 resource count but allow for more flexibility production wise.
maybe you could also add gun powder or coal
