I wonder why no one is speaking about the new zombie variants I'm seeing around... I haven't seen something as unique in ages!
(Meanwhile the game devs are making spirit zombies... boring, not to throw crap on the devs, but it's just a flanker with other color, high pitched audio and harder to kill)
The Ural mountains creator is really making miracles with this map (Locations, new items, new zombies, more NPCs and new quests coming soon?), perhaps better than any vanilla map out there, just tweak them a bit and the quality will overtake vanilla by years.

For example, while playing in this map, I have found:
(All of them with the 3 variants: normal, sprinter and crawler)

Mutating zombies: Normal zombies with meat blobs/bones/mouths/eyes growing everywhere, no mechanical change other than looking uggggly... and it's fantastic!! But still gross.
*Would be epic if they exploded like radiation zombies on death, but doing way less damage.

Mummy zombies: Spawns at random, somewhat rare to find, they seem to tank quite a LOT, and it isn't an understatement! but they give ~250 exp on death, oh my! Just like a normal zombie but has a skin/cream color, has a different face, and is usually seen wearing pants and lots of bandages... I recommend isolating it then SMACKING it a million times in the face with a knife, it still staggers but it is better when there aren't other zombies around to bother you.
*I would make them more special like, if not killed in X seconds after seeing you, they scream and alert all nearby zombies, like a car explosion or shooting a gun would.

The PREDATOR zombie: No idea why this exist!! seemingly n@ked, dark brown skin... and the scariest custom face you can find around... they seem to rarely appear at total random locations and are (Probably) INFINITELY tanky, or at least take a full military drumb to the face without dying, it may have the same health as a boss, (Considering everything here is ultra bullet sponge).
Oh and anyways, it doesn't stagger so it still walks straight to you... luckily it doesn't hurt as much as being hit by a normal zombie crawling in the floor.
No idea if it is meant to be unkillable and hunts you until you run out of the zombie area, but for now it seems running is the best idea, even if you kill it, it would take a couple full drumbs, and unless it drops Leyendary/mythical items, it's not worth your ammo (Or time if using a knife or chainsaw... yes, I already tried it with a 100% chainsaw on top of unreachable terrain, dropped to 15% durability and I just gave up at that moment).
*My opinion on how to make them better? NO IDEA, its like a miniaturized boss but has no special attacks or causes bleeding on attacks... still really menacing if it is unkillable, and if it is, dropping no items will incentive the player to just RUN.
Edit: Found out it is immune to headshot damage, shooting into the chest/limbs is the only method to go, and it also staggers like a headshot would.
It gives a nice amount of exp (350) and drops... something? I can't craft anything so...

Questions for the comments:
Any more zombies you have seen? Perhaps that snow monster that rando NPC speaks about, is it real? Planned to be in the future? Or just a mere illusion of the traumatized NPC...? How you felt when first meeting this zombies? Was it an unexpected jumpscare like my first encounters? Perhaps you haven't met them and now are filled with spoilers... who cares!
