Is it just me or does Enchanter...
...suuuuck. I typically start a run as either Blood Mage or N-N-N-N-N-Necromancer. I thought "you know what, let's spice it up with something different."

"Ah I figured out WHY the Enchanter is viable! Good source of manaweave/ demon leather/ etc!"

Everything is pemmican. I am pemmican. You are pemmican. Raid occurs, turn self into pemmican. Raider eats me. Now we are pemmican.

yeahh i personally only ever use enchanters for their blank mind spell, everything else is meh; i don't like the permanent removal of a chunk of my character's mana reserves lmao

Enchanter is not ready for prime time. Give it to a secondary, decidedly non-combat oriented pawn. They can do a few things and when that gets dull teach them to summon minions and they'll passively keep the colony organized and clean.

But you can turn all your steel armor into demonscale armor etc.
