Blood Mage and Aliens
I have been playing with alien species in Rimworld and I have been noticing a bunch of things regarding the Blood Mage. The ability to get blood from freshly spilt blood doesn't work with alien humanoids and the ring of blood doesn't get more powerful because it needs humans, not humanoids. I suggest it be changed to humanoid not humans for the blood mage class.

Blood is determined by the blood of the caster. If an alien species has a unique type of blood then it doesn't count. If that alien species was a blood mages, then the blood of a human wouldn't count.

I think I understand you, one thing also it that the blood ring does work with humanoids. But I don't understand how the ability to draw blood from the ground works. I have never noticed when anyone was bleeding, or if there was blood on the ground, that the blood mage would have their blood magic increased.

You draw blood from the ground only when casting blood sacrifice. I'll update the description with that fact.

OH that makes sense, yeah I would recommend doing that. I never realised that was how it works, thanks for replying to my discussion.
