Arcane curse not going away.
I am using a pawn with cursed and shadow. No matter how many magic or stamina ability's I use, it doesn't go away. What am I doing wrong? Also what is suppose to happen? While I was looking I never found any information on the Cursed trait.

Same thing has been happening to me. I have a Lightning mage who is cursed. cursed grants some consciousness but there seems to be no lessening of Arcane Weakness. FYI log dump https://gist.github.com/2c380266c320fed844413cecfea1bc66

Also, the lightning mage seems to drop on occasion for like a second. Like the fact he dropped undoes some condition that drops him.

I actually figured out how this works! I forgot about this comment. How it works is you need to apply arcane weakness. To do that you need to cast a spell using more than 25 mana. My problem was that I was using a Shadow, who doesn't have anything over 25 mana cost. For your Lighting Mage, if you learn the spell Eye of the Storm, and don't have any magical equipment that reduces the cost, you should easily get rid of the Arcane Weakness incurred from the Cursed trait.
Do update if that fixes the problem, as I have only don't research but didn't test it.

I think you figured it out. My rimworld just shifted to 1.4 so I think I'm starting a new game anyways. Thanks for the info.
