Any way to hide or suppress onscreen messages?
Really digging this addon and have been playing around in it with friends a lot lately. But I was wondering if there's any commands or anything I can use to disable or hide or suppress (whatever) all the onscreen text messages you see displayed whenever you adjust the volume in the cinema or whenever new videos get queued and whatnot? I tried a bunch already and none hide these elements so far.

Just wanted to try it to make this even more immersive and realistic than it already is. I especially have a video idea in mind and would rather not see all the messages onscreen if I can help it. Thanks!

If you have access to the console and have sv_cheats enabled, you can enter `hidehud 4` to remove all UI elements. However, there are no built-in gamemode settings for this.

Thanks so much! I'll try it later. And thanks for a GREAT addon, man!

But while we're on the subject, just thought of one more thing; is it possible to remove the huge nametags next to everyone's avatars? :) Like to remove those completely if I can.

Update: Tried that command you mentioned and it worked for most messages so that's cool, but is there any way to also remove the video overlay text (the info that pops up over videos as they start and shows volume level, title and length)? Love to be able to remove ALL of it, if possible.

Sorry for the late reply, the hidehud command is hiding parts of the official GMod/Source Engine HUD. The video overlay is part of the CInema gamemode itself, I'd need to add an extra option to do so.
