Is there a way to feed vampire prisoners?
This is my first time using this mod. My own colony does not have any vampires (I wanted vampires more as a hazard to defend against), but I captured one during a raid, but his Vitae is going down way faster than I can recruit him. The mod's description is a bit vague about what happens to vampires when they run out of vitae, so I'd like to know if this prisoner is going to die if I keep him locked up, and is there a way to feed him blood? I haven't gotten a tooltip to feed him blood yet, but he also hasn't gotten up from his sleeping spot yet, as he was hurt pretty badly when we captured him. I'm asking this now because I'd like to know well before his Vitae actually gets low.

same problem. Transfer blood didnt helped. Beast unleshed but I managed to cut off his legs

Well, I have since figured out the solution to this problem myself. There's actually two: get a non-vampire prisoner and put them in the same cell as your vampire, or use the operations menu to extract blood from your colonists that you can then bring to the vampire to feed them.

yep this is working, but I have crazy 3-4 Gen ancient vampire and I cut off his legs during fight. So he cant feed from blood packs or other prisoners. Maybe I can give him prostetics and let drain to death some prisoners. But i wont be able to kill unleashed beast and he will slaughter my colony

I mean, maybe you can manually feed him blood packs? Though, I bet you've tried that already. I guess just stick some peg legs on him then.

Peg legs wont be enouth I think, Maybe I will remove his eyes also
when they have beast unleashed they get huge bonus. And they have 75 damage mitigation, so nothing in colony can damage them (maybe lucky hit from antitank cannon)

Hm or I can do it in morning with roof removed on prison except his bad. So he should fall down. But I dont know how much time it will take him to break out of prison

I also learned keeping human prisoners in there too, you can alternatively extract blood from colonists as a medical procedure. I then made a storage location that only accepted those in its preferences and boom, vampire eats them.
