Pij-something-or-another: These are leeches in the VTM universe, they are also thought to have died out and had a very interesting siring process in which the victims intestines explode and a giant leech, which is the vampire, is born. over time it changes its shape from a leech to a boneless blood monster and finally to a human. In game their abilites are a leech like ability that can allow them to suck up the blood on the floor, stop bleeding on a target, force the target to vomit blood and send off a piece of their body that consume the target whole then deliver the blood back to the vampire.

Gargoyle: These guys aren't technically a bloodline since they aren't descended from Cain, but they are still technically vampires they are also the youngest of hte clans and due to their monsterious appereance they must stay hidden from the mortal realm, their unquie apperence is due to the fact that their creation was founded in the Tremere merging several diferent blood-lines together. their In game ability is flight. (Don't know the specifics over it, it doesn't really interest me.)

Lasombra: This clan is technically present in VTM:B, but you never actually fight them. (One can be seen teleporting out the ally the first time you arrive in santa-monica.) Their special ability is command of the shadows. They can summon a giant tentacal to protect an area (Basically a trap.) can wrap themselves in shadows to increase their defenses and can teleport anywhere on the map.

Tremere: These guys are much like the gargoyles (Whom they created) in that they aren't technically a bloodline since they aren't descended from cain, their origin is that they were a dark-ages blood cult that attained something akin to vamparism on their own. They are the second youngest clan (First being the Gargoyle) and are sworn rivials of the Tzimisce because one of the subject the proto-tremere mutilated and killed to attain their vampiric state was a Tzimisce. They also have power comparable to the Tzimisce which just adds to the intense hatred of the two mighty clans. They are strong allies of the Cammarilla, some might even say the strongest, but are deeply feared by the other clans and generally not trusted. In game their special ability is Thaumaturgy which just sucks the victims blood from a distance.


Tzimisce: In the VTM universe the Tzimisce are one of the oldest and strongest of the clans. They are also one the most monsterious due to their ability to mold flesh like putty. They do not adhere to the masquerade and are in direct confrontation to the cammarilla whom they view as disgraces to all vampire kind. They don't think that the wolf (Vampire) should live in fear of the sheep (Humans) but instead rule over them as their rightful masters. In game they have the ability to change their form into something that is more appealing, Change the form of a target into a monsterious mass that cripples them, can change the form of tamed animal and finally change their form into what the Tzimisce within the VTM universe would consider their true form.

Ghouls aren't vampires but rather super-humans that are addicted to vampire blood. in exchange for the blood (And possible Siring) the ghouls act as watch dogs for their undead masters, performing tasks that are too dangerous or too obvious for their vampire master. a ghoul under the effects of vampire blood can live almost forever, heal far quicker, are generally more durable, are faster, smarter and stronger than their normal human counter-part. Basically, they are better to normal humans in every way but a crippling addiction that can never be cured.

For those that are wondering, Cain was the first vampire. Vamparism was his punishment from god for murdering his brother. From his cursed blood-lines all others were formed directly or indirectly. The first clans themselves formed in mesopatamia and most of them either ruled over or ruled jointly with normal humans.

The first sired vampire was Lilith. Lilith was an actual figure within the bible, she was Adam's first wife but god banished her for disobeying him.
