For everyone who suffers huge lag when vampires awake
Here are three tips may be helpful:
1.restrict the vampires region without sunshine
2.allow vampires' sunshine policy relexed
3.do not allow vampires constructing, growing, cleaning, and hauling

I guess this issue is related to path finding and working finding AI. So decreasing the times of these will be good.

Doesn't work for mining as well. I suggest just letting your vampires research during 0500-1900 even during an eclipse. Anything outside that time period is fine.

I indeed get huge lag when my vampire is doing what you said, but mostly when he is awake during the day doing the above mentioned activities. Very annoying bug.
