I'll just be posting any announcements for vampires onto this discussion for anyone who's interested. They're all from Jecrell on the Discord.

Vampire B18 Release & Update (11/22/17)
-Vampires cannot resurrect after their corpses become dessicated (e.g. from Sunlight damage, or skeletal remains)
-Reorganized some right click code to increase efficiency.
-Fixed bug where healing was giving vitae.
-Increased burn rate checks.
-Changed hidey hole clawing to use melee skill checks instead of construction skill checks
-Hidey holes cannot be dug by vampires incapable of manipulation (armless vampires can't dig).
-Drafted pawns will not start creating hidey holes.
-Fixed errors in The Beast pathing.
-Fixed issue where The Beast was not triggering when "unleashed"
-Vampires no longer dislike the darkness.
-Adjusted vampire grappling system.

11/23/17 Vampires Update
-Vampires now tire very quickly during daylight hours.
-Fixed feeding issue on prisoners.
-Fixed embracing issue on prisoners.
-Fixed feeding on animals
-Added vampire bite damage and flavor text to feeding / embracing / diablerie

11/24/17 JecsTools update
-Grapple now has an auto-success on sleeping characters.

-Vampires will now find blood on their own again (still not sure how this stopped working, I had to relocate the code to the needs area)

-Vampires now want to rest during daylight hours and come out at night.

JecsTools
-Added minor damage notifier to grapple, so manhunter and faction effects can be triggered.

Vampires
-Changed feeding behavior (will naturally avoid feeding on visitors and visitor animals)
-Fixed issue with animal feeding behavior not acting as intended.
-Adjusted XP float text to be slightly higher.
-Fixed weird pathing error from started feed job while downed or dead.
-Fixed blankets not appearing properly on top of coffins.
-Vampires will no longer receive bad moodlets from seeing other vampires feed or embrace characters
-Added "Lengthen Night" scenario part for those who want longer nights. Warning -- this will dim your sun by about 10% as well, since there is no easy way to slow down and speed up the sun atm.
-Vampire bites now give positive moodlets.

Cosmic Horrors
-Removed strange chance of random raids from various monster factions.

Arachnophobia
-Added in an error catch statement, to remove some odd null messages.
-Adjusted silk values to be a bit stronger and closer to Hyperweave

-GrappleUtility updated between mods. Dark Young grapple issues fixed.

Vampires
-Added simple coffins.
-Changed royal coffins to hide the bodies of sleepers, since they have blankets to rest under.
-Royal coffins now require vanilla Beds research.
-Vampires now burn to ashes instead of leaving corpses from sunlight.
-Extensively rewrote sunlight AI handling code for Vampires.
-Added ability to resurrect inside coffins
-Changed description of resurrect to be clearer about the dangers of The Beast
-Added ability to open coffins while in Torpor state by using blood points.
-Colonists no longer prefer to sleep in coffins/sarcophagi automatically, but require to be manually set to sleep in them. Vampires will automatically try to sleep in them, however.
-When embraced, memories of moodlets regarding the death of the character are removed.
-Adjusted mood boosts from vampire bites.
-Vampires that are not Pijavica will not be able to sip the blood of other vampires.
-Vampires will prioritize healing neck wounds after cleaning bite wounds.
-Fixed issue with transformed parts.

Vampires
-Vampire AI for seeking blood and safe havens has been relocated from an XML patch to ThinkTrees.
-AI now allows for vampire prisoners to survive on extracted blood vials and blood packs, as would be expected.
-Blood packs is now a seperate category in the items menu.
-Hidey holes are now hidden from the Misc category to avoid confusion.

-Removed pathing limitations during daylight hours for vampires.
-Added extra tooltip information for the "Rest" need, to clearly show how vampires must rest during daylight hours.
-When a new vampire is converted, their hostility response is automatically set to ATTACK mode instead of FLEE, because vampires are natural predators, why would they flee from animals after starting to drain them?
-Added new "Prisoner Only" feed options for vampires.
-Updated Russian translation by kr33man

-Coded new animated vampire bats ( @Draegon1993 -- thank you for the artwork )
-Downed prisoners will not throw errors when seeing vampires hunt -- behavior patched.
-Errors no longer appear when wardens try to give vampires meals -- behavior patched.
-Added extra check to make sure vampires don't lose vitae from 'Lovin'
-Players no longer have blood options for characters that are not of their faction.
-Added 'Remove Vampirism' Debug option.
-Added modifiers for communion to greatly increase chance of successful grapples for spectral bats
-Cabin Fever does not occur among vampires.
-Added option for sunlight policy for vampires.
-Added extra effects to summoned characters.
