Bug blood feeding on both pawns/humanoids and animals !!!!!
just started checking for bugs as alot of mods are having it right now as patches literally messed up the mod as i tried it last night and it worked well (aka the night the patch came out of rthe mod) but literally a day later the game got a small patch or update and literally nothing in the mod for feeding works or giving vampirism works. Love the mod so I wanted to tell the developers of this bug.

I've the same problem, my Vamp can't feed, when he try, he become a Beast and all his action goes in a Queue( when he try to feed on something ). So he never eat and is all time crazy/mad

not only that but the mod is for version 18a and we're on version 18b

I'm having a similar issue, although not with normal feeding. You can fix normal feeding by properly organizing your mods.

My issue is when a vampire's internal beast is released, he will say his current action is trying to feed on this or that, but he doesn't feed on anything. He will only attack things, which makes them attack back, until he's dead or they're dead. He ended up killing 3 people and half my animals (was my strongest vampire) before someone was finally able to take him down. He didn't feed on anyone, before or after attacking/killing them. He was just attacking.

Started new colony because more mods updated. Everything worked fine but all non humanoid pawns have blank needs tab.
Moved vampires to bottom of load order and started new colony. No change.
Verified game cache. Started new colony. No change. Played a bit and took a break.

Loaded game. Needs tab displays properly again (yay!) but upon forcing a vampire to feed, all future attempts to force feeding will display the previous target and not be clickable. For example; Tell them to feed on an ostrich with lethal feeding mode selected. Ostrich dies. Right click on Boar. Displays Ostrich. Right click on colonist. Displays Ostrich. Changing feeding mode and or reloading game has no effect, but restarting the game fully clears it until you force them to feed.

Starting another new colony to test it again.

Cleared Save data, and loaded only Core, Hugslib, Jecstools, and Vampires. Restarted again for paranoia.
New colony, same results.

i did the same thing but i found only two other mods actually make this problem fix about 10 or 25% of the time but since its still not that good its better if i said jectools and another undeveloped tool mod actually help

a bug found, is that blood lose either last much longer or does not reset, where my normal pawns has have full blood but still has "extreme blood loss." if they have full blood point gets fed an while having etreme blood lose, they die. Also vamp seems to be taking both blood points on animals that have 2, while the vamp is set on non-lethal animal feed

Everyone get mods such as huglibs and multilayer processing mod instead of single layered as it seems to help process vampire abilities and also repairs the feeding mechanic so bloodlust actually works again but one warning though if there are any changes restart your computer and it should be fixed as the code for 18A or 18B are pretty much just getting reworked overnight for alot of mods.
