Bug(making new vampires and raiders)
I tried to make a new vampire on a raider that was knocked down (so i could consime him) and when he turned into a vampire he got up and was on our side

i dont think its a bug. it's probably the sireing machanic, i guess most vampires try to immidiately try to kill his/her sire. of course i could be wrong so dont quote me on that. even though i do believe you shouldnt be able to turn non colonists into children
but thats more of personal taste.

Welp i guess now its prisoner being the Feed for my vampires, and all i wanted to do was have my vanpires consume the raiders along with their souls (insert sad face)

When a vampire "sires" another vampire, it creates a blood bond. A new childe will not try to kill its sire. So they switch sides -- not a bug.

the new vampire would be a generation lower then its master so why consume its soul anyway??
