A Tale Retold is a new gaming community with 100+ active members and growing!
We recently just wrapped up our last server (a fun change of pace doing a Medieval RP theme) and are moving onto our next adventure. We're currently looking for friendly, active players who enjoy a variety of games and who are interested in a fun, challenging new flavor of the same ol' Ark experience.

Our Ark server is also White Listed, meaning that only people who have joined our discord and filled out an application can get access to the server/password.

Since Genesis Part 2 will be arriving sometime next month (barring any delays from Wildcard ofc) we believe it will be great fun to try and do an actual Story-line Run by going through all the canonically relevant maps one by one.
This would entail starting with and going through:

1. The Island 🏝️
   
2. Scorched Earth 🏜️
   
3. Aberration ☢️
   
4. Extinction ☠️
   
5. Genesis Part 1 🌌

We figure it should take no more than a couple of weeks to complete each map so that by the time we are done and caught up, Genesis Part 2 will (hopefully) have been released and even had a little time to iron out the inevitable bugs/glitches that new releases come with.

• PvPvE - Focused more on PvE, no raiding allowed. PvP only under agreed terms.

*The Hunted will add a much more challenging experience than vanilla Ark gives. You will start with normal stats and get slightly boosted stats for each point you put into them, but the flip side of this is that you cannot do traditional taming. You will not be able to tame adult creatures in the wild, instead you must find and steal fertilized eggs from nests and/or find babies wandering near parents and claim them as your own.
However don't think that the parents will be keen on letting you near their nests or young ones without a fight. Once peaceful dinos will now see you as a threat if you wander too close....so be prepared to fight for your life or run for it!
