It's modding we are taking and i don't think most of this is the engine

Timing plays a big part. Servers have set spans of time for actions, anything faster or slower can generate visual inconsistencies.

It's possible to make silly animations fit to length, but it's difficult, and at the whim of the animator. If nobody wants to animate flipping revolvers or flying magazines, you won't see them. I don't know how Tooti (sorry about the name) prefers to do his stuff, so I can't speak for him on that.

Failing to do that would cause animations either cut off in mid and/or breaking blending from sequence to the next. For example, reloading loop and reloading first shell are sequences like that.

Some sequences, like equip animation and chambering round (after reloading), are more forgiving. So, if i had wanted to make more "tricky" animations, I would have been possible to do that. I wanted to have more down to earth animation instead of more action packed ones (given that the gun model has stock and longer barrel, I personally think it was a good decision).

This thinking I'm hearing is the Minor issue that leads people to hate reloading in game's. If the animation for reloading, were more super action packed, example Far cry 3 blood dragon, then the number of head's turned would quickly massively increase

You can fit in some fancy stuff with animations but people usually look at the animation itself finishing rather than looking at the ammo count going back to a full mag.

A shotgun fed by mag like aa12 has buggy reloading animation, if that's what you reference, in that case this so called timing can't be a engine thing right? So its possible to address it?

i think the anims are very good on Tööttis guns. Atleast he makes his own instead of reusing already made animations by other people. (Anims with camera movement are worst)
