You can't equip the weapons or armour to just anyone. You have to manually place a space marine in the editor and then set that marine as "player controlled".

I see, but as I've said before I have little knowledge on the usage of Zeus/Editor so I'm going to need a little bit more of an in-depth explanation/instructions.

Ok, so when you open Eden Editor you have the tab on the right hand side of your screen where all the units are listed. Navigate to "The Adeptus Astartes" menu, then go through the sub-menus to find your desired chapter. Once you've done that, click on the Space Marine, then click on the terrain to place it. When the Marine is placed, they will appear on the tab on the left of the screen, which shows all placed items/units.

Double clicking on the marine in the left tab will bring up their menu. Scroll through their menu and you will find a tick box that says "Player controlled". If you placed the marine before any other units, this will be clicked automatically. If you didn't, then tick it. When you start the mission, you will be playing as the marine.

Thanks, the instructions added with the videos help out a lot. Me and my friends have been trying to figure this out for a while. It really helps, cant wait to join in on our own eternal crusades.

I read this and I understand but can you select what one you want some how? Like if wanted some one to be a medic but they joined and where using a tac? as in if I make the map and people join the sever can they or can I give the a class or gear???

i dont have anything in the zeus the only tab i can interact with is the objectives one
