How to make a mod that works with this one?
Hey, Im very new to the modding tools and im having some trouble. Essentially im trying to add starter units to the factions Sentinels of Xeti and Itza. I belive im doing it right as far as adding the units, but i think my mod is clashing with yours. Could you let me know how to make it so it just changes the starting units and nothing else.

The normal way would require a startpos edit and thus be incompatible with my mod, but this can be done rather easily via scripts with perfect compatibility.

Although be aware that I will add custom starting units to factions over time by myself, based on their loreful background, so you could also just suggest some changes like that to me and why they should be done like that.

So its me and my brother that are currently playing this in a coop campaign. We always play very hard difficulty which has never been a problem. But the start for these factions are really hard as they have their basic units and settlements, so you have very little income and recruitment options straight of the bat. I don't know very much lore about warhammer, i was always a 40k guy but love total war. I was wanting to add a single unit of Kroxigors to Xeti and a Bastilidon (solar engine) to Itza. So only one unit each. Xeti's first enemy is dark elves who spam spears and armour peircing crossbows so the kroxigors are not to over powered as a starting unit for them, and Itza has to deal with armoured dwarfs very early on so this would also help.

Me and my borther are just finding it fustrating as we are spending alot of time early game sitting in our settlements.
