I took my screen shots, then quit Steam VR to attend to something else. When I returned, my save file was again corrupted. I just spent 8 hours rebuilding this kitchen and everything is lost again! Don't know if this is a Driftwood problem or a Steam VR problem, but it's a serious problem.
I have no idea why this save was corrupted. I had already successfully saved my work and had not been having any problems. I made sure to telelport slowly, as someone else mentioned that spamming teleport would lead to falling through the ground. During this last rebuild session, I never fell through the ground or had any issues. It is just that now when I try to return to my saved Driftwood home environment, it is the same back corrupted mess.
Is there any way to recover my save? Where do the copies of past saves sit? DO YOU KNOW OF ANY POSSIBLE WAY I CAN FIND OR RECOVER ANYTHING?
Feedback to anyone who will listen: No one should be building anything in Driftwood until this mess gets sorted out. Builder beware, through no fault of your own, you will suddeny find your save file corruped and you will lose all your work. It has happened to me twice!!!
