Help me Anakin
My fellow SFO players I need some tips. I am playing a co-op Vampire Count campaign as Vlad, and my armies just dont cut it against norsca. Im at turn 112 and my main army with Vlad just got demolished by Throgg. Throgg himself beat Vlad which considering I havent put any points into his combat is fine, but the Norscan Maruaders with great weapons completely annihilate anything I throw at them. I had 5 units of grave guard with great weapons being supported by 3 Blood Dragon Warriors (plus Mortis Engine) and the marauders EASILY wiped them out. I understand that VC infantry isnt supposed to go toe-to-toe with norsca, but my cav cant wrap around before my infantry just crumbles. How can I support my front line to win or even hold against Norsca?

I am playing VH VH with faction caps.

Vampires will receive large rework soon. Just wait with playing them.

Norsca excels in melee with missile resistance out of melee, and since they have alot of
anti-large VC are in a bad position. Using magic to weaken or simply demolish their units works best in my opinion but the best option would be getting tier 3 Von Carstein bloodline for 25% phys resistance when defending or Lahmian tier 3 for factionwide stalking. A terrorgheist or zombie dragon could work aswell for taking out groups but magic is alot more flexible. You could also just get a Strigoi bloodline lord spam ghoul units and ambush as much as possible. If you really want to fight in melee a necromancer with an unholy lodestone cart will help alot. I wish you luck in dealing with Throgg since VC have very little fire dmg
