I'm also crashing with only SFO enabled and have tried restarting Steam but haven't tried restarting my computer as I need to go to sleep soon anyhow.
Try restarting either or both of those and see if that fixes it.
Thats the launcher I was talking about! I tried it and nada. Tried using just SFO and also SFO with some other mods, and still would not launch. Same crash as if I tried it using Steam.
On a hunch induced by MrPeters' reference to Nvidia, I update and clean-installed my graphics drivers.
Splash splash, confirmed, good effect on target, game launches with SFO only now. Havent tested with anything else, but I'm so excited I had to share.
Hope it's the same problem for everyone else and that it works, go with the Gods peeps.
Like; Unsub/Resub, Validate Install, External mod manager, Graphics drivers update (my addition to the list), clearing app cache, etc. etc. etc.
