Time moves too slowly.
So I am looking around the map and countries dont seem to have a crazy amount of divisions but time is still progressing incredibly slowly. its 1958 in my game and I am not at war.

I have the same problem, even sometimes with the base game. It's almost definitely because of your computer. (I have one of the cheapest laptops on the market). Lowering the graphics to minimum should make a difference, but the only thing that will really fix the issue is getting a new computer. Sorry. :/

I actually have a pretty beefy computer, I have a 1080 and an i7-4790K

Hm.... well then I don't know. Something mod-related, then. Especially if you only experience the problem with this mod.
