We have the same idea, we play in the ARC, we are just as interested in new opportunities. Please write us your ideas! we will try to translate them into reality))
1. Mech Grappling Gun - Like some sort of mid tier between none and jump jets, that would work simillar to the normal grappling gun.
2. Movement booster - Like use extra fuel to run faster, like those tek pants.
3. Shield generator - Simillar to the tek shield but for the mech, and for a small period of time, using element.
4. Pacifying gas dispenser - Like mounted on the back or something, that would work simillar to Pachyrhinosaurus calming scent.
5. Tranq dart launcher weapon
6. Bola launcher
Would be better more legs with various carry weight. Heavy legs have more weight but slower speed.
First off, thank you so much for this. As a huge Battletech/Mechwarrior fan, this is a very welcome addition. Only one requests I have: keep it balanced for vanilla. Without testing it myself, but given its advanced tech, I figure it should be a bit harder to unlock and build than the Tek ATV. Also, I suggest making it roughly on par with a Tek saddled T-rex and then adjust accordingly depending on what additional benefits/drawbacks it gets.
An alternative could be to make it very strong offensively, but relatively fragile compared to a fully armed Tek T-rex (kind of like those mechs from the movie Avatar). I guess it depends on what you are going for.
If balanced properly, I really look forward to having this on my server.
Please remove the screen shake when it fires a round. It's effect is shaking me half way across the map.
