X2WOTCCommunityHighlander keeps crashing while previous version worked fine.
Title. What changed that it keeps crashing now i tried everything and this mod just doesn't work even if it's the only mod in my folder the game is stuck on 1600mb on Task manager.

This mod still crashes the game after the initial cinematic videos, i.e. I can't get to the main menus. Disabling it allows the game to open properly again. Also tried running this mod alone and had the same issue. I also did everything from the troubleshooting tips on reddit and it didn't help.

Boys i know what to do:

1. Download mod from here https://github.com/X2CommunityCore/X2WOTCCommunityHighlander/releases

2. Unpack him in your mod folder (Xcomfolder/XComGame/Mods)

3. After this go to unpacked highlander mod folder and find in him another folder named: "CookedPCConsole"

4. Coppy all files from him and paste them here: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\CookedPCConsole\
