Bug Reports
Post bug reports here, but please don't report any of the following issues:
  • Psionic Storm only plays sound from one storm at a time, due to a base-game issue where a soundcue can only be played once per ObjectID
  • Networked OI does not work with CloseCombatSpecialistAttack or KillzoneShot. Unsure of exact cause, appears that CCS does not tick AbilityActivated
  • Sibyl's Gaze only works on enemies within Over The Shoulder's range when it is activated.
I suspect there may be the following issues and am looking for confirmation (since I am very lazy):
  • Guardian Angel doesn't actually prevent or cure negative mental effects
  • Echoed Agony doesn't properly calculate panic chances (this would be incredibly difficult to test via normal gameplay)
  • Hidden Blade doesn't do anything (i never tested it)

Please report any psionic abilities that Sovereign does not interrupt here, and if they're from a mod, vanilla, or WOTC.

Promotions arent showing up and when I go to promote them no skills show up either

I believe the correct folder is %USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config

And by 'clear' you actually mean delete right?

edit: Also, as an FYI your classes seem to start with beam weapons, even when it is an automatic promotion for a soldier who went on the first mission of the game.

Clearing configs and unsubscribing from pervious version did not fix the issue. Might require the training center to be built before the promotion screen works correctly. Promotion mod says that training center is required to purchase perks/abilities but not to rank up.


Edit: The promotion mod needs to be installed BEFORE any soldier is promoted to one of these classes. After re-running the mission I had two soldiers promoted to Rising Tide classes and with the promotion mod already installed before those promotions took effect they worked fine.

You can delete the whole folder, but you should be able to delete just the XComClassData.ini

Deleted the folder and it got rid of every single Mod I use.....

Then you deleted the wrong folder. And you actually deleted it rather than making a backup first? As I said, you have to have the promotion mod BEFORE one of your soldiers gets selected for one of these classes.
Aleosiss you may want to put the link to the promotion screen mod on your mod page as I did not see it there ealier.

No I cleared the right folder. launched XCOM 2 but it didnt register the active mods. exited the game and refreshed the mods from the mods tab and it re-registered them. Had me worried tho

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but none of the soldiers seem to be able to hack doors the way default classes can. Wouldn't have really noticed this but taking all three on a mission where part of the mission is hacking a door........I'm kinda stuck blowing the door up.

What was the mission type, exactly? I can't replicate that against either the ADVENT Cell doors or the ADVENT Van doors.
