I have done the first two steps (Research RTGs and create plutonium), and now no crafter will do the third step (evaluate components) - I have the citizens with both Crafting and Intellectual skill as well. I tried forcing them to work at the Rimatomics research table, but right clicking it just does nothing.

The only reason they aren't doing that, that I can think of, is that I disassembled the research reactor (as I didn't need it anymore, as far as I could tell by reading the research steps for everything I wanted to have), otherwise I have no idea what's going on.

Help?
