Rimatomics "destroying" the helmets, not possible with burn aparel task?
Well this is getting a bit silly, but I have a base fully literared with rim atomics "radiation masks", all in various state of degradation - so that colonists no longer wish to wield them.

Normally gear such as these is just burned away to free space in my crematorium. However the "burn apparel" task from the cremation bench seems to not recognize rimatomics gear?

I am sure I have done that previously. I am sure.
Have you checked the settings of the job? It might simply not be enabled in the job itself.

check the thing filter and make sure they are ticked
