Failing quests when using Rimatomics weapons
I really want to use things like the punisher or liberator to attack bandit outposts for quests but doing that has such a high chance of failing the quest because "they realized they were discovered and left". Is there a setting or research upgrade to lower the chance? These 2 weapons are pretty useless to me currently because I get punished for using them.

sounds like you are trying to do some kind of stealth quest, maybe modded since i have never heard of that happening before
No it's just normal bandit camp quests
I don't have any mods that affect quests

odd i never heard of a "discovered and left" message before, nobody else has reported this
I second this. I had a "Attack bandit camp" made of 6 tribesman. I launched the nuclear missile to que quest map tile, and when it impacted a grey notify popped up saying they were discovered and ran away. Makes no sense since they got obliterated, no time to run ha

i tested loads of spawned sites and quests and never saw that happen, and none of my regular testers have seen that happen, so i suspect its a modded thing, can you reproduce this with the debug tools in a game with just rimatomics loaded?

That happened to me today but in a heavily modded save.
