Probably going to be mentioned by someone at some point but I figured I'd get it out of the way now Nigel. Will we be seeing the H5 Gatling for the SPARK and Jorge's machine gun for Gunners?

Yes, eventually ill add all the guns to other guns to the faction units as soon as i can get some slick lightweight code to add the guns to them.

So I just had a thought. Why not have some of the unused weapons be for the hero classes? Like the H5 Assault Rifle and shotgun being for the Skirmishers, the H5 DMR and Sniper for the Reaper and the H5 pistol for the Templar?

I noticed that the cost of reach weapons is more than that of the regular ones, unsure if that's intentional. Where would I find these values to tweak them?

The ini files, located in your workshop folder usually (should be folder 1126904015)
I have updated values to adjust for all the guns to match the new values put up by firaxis on my end but i havent pushed an update to fix those issues yet till i finish my playthrough as i have to unsub from my mods to make changes and upload without any potential problems.

I'd like to see the H2 BR from Halo 5 ported over. If only because the regular BR model is so huge compared to the Reach weapons.

A couple of ideas:

1) The DMR could possibly be a Vektor Rifle equivalent.

2) One of the SMGs can be a Bullpup equivalent.

3) Could the weapons be linked to the development of vanilla weapons? It kind of suck needing to develop weapons twice.

4) [Probably a dumb idea, feel free to ignore or laugh at me] Is it possible to do a full 'replacement' version, where we ONLY have these, but not the vanilla ones?

You don't have to build the vanilla weapons. Just build the Halo guns

do you know anyone that can do a custom animation mod for the ODST SMG? Where the hand can be on the foregrip and not the suppressor?

ive done it before and the gun itself is not big enough to properly put the hand on the forgrip, it bends the characters wrist back and looks worse than having it on the supressor.
