why cant the player in galactic conquest play as republic and the sepereatist at the same time.

That wouldnt be fun, the only way i see that working is if someone went and made a mod that said "tired of being a faction? wanna be the whole galaxy basically? then play PALPATINE and play as the Republic and CIS fighting eachother at the same time! you can set up specific time limits for someone to launch an attack and build up specific defenses, basically a giant sandbox!"
