Bug Report: landing zone victory point doesn't work
NR campaign, just tried to conquer Kuat from the Empire. I took control of the victory point (definitely, it turned fully orange) and nothing happened. I couldn't win the battle any other way either, since there was a planetary shield which my half-dead army definitely wouldn't reach.

If there is a planetary shield or the faction capital present on Kuat it won't work

It even says so on the right side of the screen during battle in huge bold white text i.e. "planetary shield present, prevents bombarment, bombing runs ,victory point".

This is why it is good to always land arty and air units so it can be killed off easily.
