Something strange happened but I don't understand why.

The part of the interface at the top left corner that gives you information about your crew reserve and infrastucture score / level of difficulty disappeared and I can't get it back.

I tried launching a new game it doesn't work, I made a clean reinstall but I still have the same issue. It doesn't even show the text bubbles when leaders speak to you, like at the beggining of a new campaign.
