I got a tier III land officer built from Carida
It was the hovertank with two guard squads in a defensive battle. The imperial dropship lost 25 hit points and went down to 300 hit points. I think the officer hovertank did the same thing. None of the other units receive any bonuses. For instance the artillery and xr-85 hit points stayed the with their normal hit points.

The text does not change when a bonus is applied

So that would only mean when you mouse over the unit icon the hit point shows ids as wrongly 325 while in battle it actually really 300 then. So it just a typo when mousing over it out of battle.
