UPDATE 9/14/23: Per the comment below, it appears that the bug manifests around the time the Mediator research option becomes available. However, as of September 14, 2023, this bug still is affecting games. After I received the below advise, I started an entirely new play through. The bug still occurs, which is particularly disappointing after a second run up to Cycle 222.

I'm not entirely sure whether there is a particular trigger after Cycle 222, however. I managed to engage in a space battle, but when I attempted a ground battle, it dumped to desktop. I'm relatively certain on my first play through it dumped on both space and ground battles (and definitely once from the galaxy screen).

I friggin love the mod, though. Absolutely nothing is gonna stop me from playing through again once this is fixed!

I'm having an issue that I believe sources to the Mon Mothma Star Destroyer research. I'm in Era 7 and haven't yet researched the ship (I've yet to liberate Kuat where I'm assuming Viqi Shesh will become available). On Cycle 222, the mission info for the relevant Research mission populates in the Campaign Overview screen instead, leaving the Research mission blank. I've noticed that once this happens, any file I attempt to save becomes corrupt and the game eventually dumps to desktop.

Anyone else experiencing this? Fortunately I can wind back the clock a bit and gun for Kuat if that'll allow the proper research and avoid this bug, but if feels like I may be at a dead end for this play though otherwise.
