You COULD just install the addon, test it, and confirm it yourself, it isn't that hard.

Besides, I've seen that bug various times, and even been affected by it myself, but with different addons. It seems to happen at random with addons you download, with no clear reason as to why. If you can't download a particular addon, others can download it just fine with no issues whatsoever.
