Blastfungus
fungus ideas
1.poison fungus. produces poison smoke that damages players and npcs
2.mutation fungus. starts out as a normal fungus but has a chance to spawn a different type of fungus
3.directional fungus. all the fungus created by it will be aimed tward a certain direction rather than random locations, so it will slowly travel across land.
4.water fungus. it doesn't spread well on land but in water it will move across the surface. bringing danger to any boats or ships.
5.monster fungus. once there are enough of them in one area they will start to spawn zombies or other fitting enemies.
6.defensive fungus. if a player or npc gets near enough the fungus will jump at them and explode.
do you have any ideas? feel free to state them.(i actually have no idea if the creator will add any of these or other ones but who knows)

Yes, I agree.

An idea, perhaps? --> Dark fungus. Spreads well on darkly-lit areas, but not light ones. And here --> Gravifungus. Spreads slowly but falls on unsuspecting people, like a loose icicle on the cieling.

interesting ideas you have there, but does the second fungus float or spread on the ceiling?

those are some interesting ideas!
how about the rope fungus has a longer than needed rope length and a green material, i think long sick gooey fungus would be cool.

also, more side effects (eg coughing out fungus or decreasing movement speed) would be cool for the plague fungus
i have an idea, moving fungus, it moves toward playes (or spreads toward players) extremely fast, but not too fast where you cannot escape
and another fungus, the building fungus, it will build things out of fungus when there is enough of it!
halucinogenic fungus that acts like a flash bang when activated, then spawns client side enemies nobody else would see but you a few seconds before you can see again. They would then proceed to shoot at you and deal fakeout damage effects when hit by the projectiles. in other words i suppose it could be called aggro fungus because at first it would surprise and then draw enemy fire until they catch onto what was going on.
and other people would just think you've gone insane :P
but yeah i think there should be a fungus count limit that could be freely set in the utilities tab as well as growth rate and spawn number. maybe a set of slide bars would be easier to work with.
like a Last of Us type fungi?
