sounds like some issue with the binding, like it gets +smh_playback command, but when you release the key it doesn't send -smh_playback, which source should, and yet it doesn't. no idea why that happens. have you tried disabling all addons but smh and checking how that goes?

I disabled all of my other addons, and the same thing happens. I bind the key to playback in the console, and the animation just automatically starts playing without me even pressing the key. And when I press the key, nothing happens. I've had this mod for awhile now and never had this problem until now.

It seems that when I type the command to bind the key to playback, it doesn't bind the key and just starts the playback.

Nevermind, I just figured it out. I was typing in the command wrong, I'm so stupid. I got it now, no worries!

what was the problem? you were typing smh_playback without the +? information could be of use in case someone else gets similar problem

I was typing the command: bind (key) +smh_playback. I forgot to put the " " marks around +smh_playback.

So I binded a key to do the playback, and as soon as I did, the animation started playing without me pressing the key, and continuously looping. Every time I pressed the playback key, it just started layering the animation.

well mine wont play back AT ALL.
