While this is an even older discussion... This is correct. Lycanthropy, as it were, is genetic in the oWoD Werewolf franchise. If I remember correctly, werewolves can reproduce with with humans or wolves, creating a potential werewolf (at a slim chance) whose base from will be Homid (human) or Lupus (full wolf) respectively, and everything else operates on a scale between those.
If two werewolves reproduce, it creates a malformed werewolf due to werewolf genetics being too potent to be mixed.
However, This mod doesn't allow that. So BIG SAD PANDA FACE!
We do need a update, with a bite system. Something that makes werewovles able to bite others.
