When you create a new frame and pose your ragdoll how you want it, you MUST press the 'Snapshot' button before moving on to a new frame. This saves the position of your ragdoll at the selected frame.
Watch the video on the addon's main page and watch carefully. That's how I figured out how to do it. I hope that helps. :)

Clicking the snapshot button does not save the pose for the new frame, it saves it to the frame you have selected before moving on to the new frame. If done correctly, you should see a transparent view of said frame.

New frame, position ragdoll, Snapshot, repeat.

Basically, the 'Snapshot' button is that last thing you should click before making a new frame and doing the process again for the next part of the animation.

Again, watch the video carefully.

Did you clicked the model you were posing?

IMPORTANT: Once you have opened your menu, RIGHT-CLICK the model/ragdoll/prop you intend to animate BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE, and then click "New Frame". Hope this helps.

I cannot open up the menu at all, everytime after I put the exact bind command you told other people to put, it says unknown command after I press the key. Please, I need EXACT steps on how to fix this please.

Chances are you have conflicting add-ons. Remove a select few before using the animation tool, and see what happens.

I create my ragdoll, then i go to the HAT menu, after that, i click new frame, and then i click snapshot. it doesn't even move! what's going on?

guys, listen to me! Before you click somewhere, make ragdoll and click right mouse button on it, then when it chosen, click snapshot and then new frame!!!!
