Besides, i did some experimenting to combat this back in beta with the Centaur females, where they would actually turn their chest more (and thus look up and shoot up better) when they looked. In other words, unlike most creatures that just turn their head and neck with their aim offset when they look around, the female cenaurs would look around more with their chest.
The result was.....
...weird.
I might experiment again using the divine archer, though. We'll have to see.
Also consider though, ark has limitations.
and a humanoid can only bend back so much before it starts to look awkward.
I tried adding homing to the Divine Archer's projectiles before, too, and well, that didn't work out too well either.
also i can't change the movement in the arms either, for modder-obvious ark limitations.
Trust me when i say i understand what you mean, but ark's just not letting things happen.
