Background -> Background Effects (Enabled) -> Enable Highlight on Beat -> (set strength as desired)

It works, but it does not work on a completely black background (image)

well...yeah.... xD since black is the absence of color. there is nothing to 'highlight' :P (that's kind of how that works)

It doesn't actually light up and brighten the background (make it gray or white), but 'enhances' the color's brightness
