can you please try and enable the 'Animated Grid' (backgorund grid). Does that also 'pause/freeze' when the visualizers freeze?
Basically what I'm asking is : Does the whole wallpaper freeze? or only the audio responsive parts?

You can have Wallpaper Engine pause the wallpaper based on certain events (like maximized/fullscreen applications etc.)
Could it be that one of those events triggered the 'pause' of the wallpaper?
( In this case, most likely you have more than one screen, and have a fullscreen app on the other screen, which could pause both screens )
