Some NPCs weapons are overriden by the global Weapon Override
Hello,

Some NPCs that can be spawned via this platform will have their weapons overriden by the global NPC weapon override menu. It happens with various NPCs available on the workshop such as the following:

Rogue Combine and Citizen NPCs
Friendly Combine and Hostile Resistance NPCs

Any ideas about what causes this or how to circumvent it? :)

Unfortunately the way Zach88889 has coded those NPCs mean that none of the spawn platform's features (other than spawning them) will work.
You will need to speak to them about supporting things like weapon selection and proficiency, health, squads or collisions.
