Actually this is a known issue, but for several reasons it has not been fixed...
As you can see, problem happens when an importing model is in improper size, but it would be only a small chance, since most of the time people will just get adapted models from the threads, or discussions.
Even if you've got a non-adapted model, you can simply avoid this problem by editing the model's setting file. Changing just one or two values will do this work.
The final and most important reason is, it's too hard to fix...
Anyway, I will keep it on my to-do list, maybe someday I can find a way to fix it.

I am not that experienced but I would like to give it a shot and try to contribute towards the development of this.
First and foremost, I'll try to tackle this issue. I'll mess around and see the framework and other JS files this is running on.
Perhaps I can add you and ask you when you are free for tips while I work on this.
