Original German Models (Link Included)
Hello, all. I was aware of the original German Models from Syntax going missing from the workshop a while ago, and thought I'd give you a little welcome relief. I was given a Google Drive link from Syntax himself which will take you not only to the original models, but to the prior releases of older packs. Please follow the link below to download the .rar file called "WW2_German_NPCs", then extract it using your extractor of choice. After doing this, copy the lua, materials, and models folders and paste them into the following path (be sure to create a new folder to put the them in, as this will keep them separate from the base game):

(YOUR DRIVE HERE):\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons\(NEW FOLDER)



Once you've done this, load up Garry's Mod, and the addon should once again be in the game.

I cant find the models/materials/lua folders. I unzip the folder but I only find an internet explorer rar file that I cant do anything with

I stopped keeping up with this thread a while ago, reuploads of these models exist already, I haven't played Garry's Mod in a while and don't even remember the correct way to setup this type of thing.

I literally made a folder called WW2 German models in addons, and pasted all lua, models and materials from all the downloaded files into that folder and it works fine.

What I wrote is what I did. Take the lua, materials an models files from each and every pack you decide to download from the link in OP (original post) and put them in a new folder. You can name this folder whatever you want and then put it in addons.
