I'm so glad that don't happen anymore
I love having it once, in the beginning, because as you said it takes away the surprise of "Oh shit my whole court has typhoid fever" without even realizing a disease outbreak was near.
But that needs to be the only message. Otherwise, its just too breaking of the immersion, not to mention redundant. I dont need to be asked every month if I want to close the gates, when theyve been closed for months already.
