Story

MEGA CITY ONE is the next phase in the combine invasion of earth.
New types of mega structures for more efficient containment and gaining total control of the human race. You are part of a special unit of the rebels in search for a lost Xen crystal, which the Combine need to initialize the final phase.

Addon isn't that great.

I play the intro, shows a neat sight of the city, but then it kinda just goes to black and nothing else.

I change to level 1, it's decently playable... Until the arena against the combine...

When you kill the hunter and the antlions swarm in, they'll eventually spawn camp the combine so hard, and due to their infinite respawn numbers, the game starts to chug to the point where "Powerpoint presentation" is being kind.

Just to clear things up: it looks like you need all of the Half Life 2 games and Portal 2; it's worked for me that way.
