What exactly do I do to activate this? The game still looks the same. Do I need to do something to use mods?

holy moly thats amazing quality. I get the grain at far distance too, maybe I try the reshade tip. But its not a big issue for me considering how extremely good these textures are

For those with grainy far away textures, use FocalDOF.fx in ReShade (forgot which pack, do a search) and set the scale to 1.0 to 1.5. It fixes the problem entirely.
